A Good Girls Guide to Murder is a thriller book that takes place in a town with a creepy history. For her final project, a senior named Pip decides to explore a case that happened five years ago where Sal killed his girlfriend Andie. Throughout the process, Pip discovers much more to the case then how it was described and closed.

Pip is a senior in high school, and for her final project she decides to explore the case of Sal and Andie. Her boyfriend Ravi, who is Sal’s brother, decides to help her when she starts to uncover more and more. Pip wants to get to the bottom of the case, knowing that Sal was not the killer. But, when she starts to get deeper and deeper into the case, someone starts threatening her to drop it entirely, and takes her dog as a form to get her to stop. So, Pip drops the case and tries to find the dog, but is too late. As a result, she continues the case even with the grief she has to hold. Then, Pip finally uncovers the secret of the true killer and finishes the case.

The compelling aspect of this story was Pip finding more and more clues, which drew me in a lot. This book was hard to put down because of how thrilling it is. At some points I was disappointed because the book kept going in circles, but later on after it stopped the book became much better and I was not disappointed at all. I would recommend this to people that love thrilling and murderous stories.
