Do Hard Things is exactly what it sounds like the whole book is how to do hard things. Alex Harris talks about his experience with hard things and shares the stories of others to help motivate people. The book is split up chapter by chapter and focuses on different aspects of doing hard things and how teens need to break the ideology of laziness. Teens in the current day are looked at as soft, unsuccessful, and dependent on others. Alex Harris tries to stop this from happening any longer and tries to teach teens how to do things and make a real impact as a teen. So that teens no longer have to be looked upon with low expectations but can be expected to always achieve and have higher standards.

I would give this book a 5 out of 5 stars for a couple different reasons. I think this was one of the most influential books that I have read. The book is set up very well and it was a super easy read. It was around 200 pages but it was packed with content to digest and it left me wanting to go and do hard things. I liked how there were a lot of real world examples and not just hypothetical things that will happen if I follow what the book says. I think Christian teens should read this book because I think it has given me a different outlook on the way I do things and why I do things.
