Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller is fantasy fiction and the second book in the series. Alosa’s mission if complete, she has retrieved the map that led to the unbelievable treasure and she has three pirates from the enemy ship held captive. One of them being Riden, who is now under Alosa’s orders but still a big distraction. When Vordan reveals a huge secret ,Alosa and her crew find themselves in a race with the Pirate King. But Alosa’s not too worried, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen. This book was good. I loved Alosa and her incredible sense of humor while also being unbelievably strong. It was funny and a light and fun read. Although it was good, it was nowhere as good as the first book. I felt as there were a lot of parts that weren’t necessary. The first book had a majority of the importance so in my opinion, the sequel wasn’t all too needed. It was good but I did expect a little more. I would give it a 3/5.
