Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney is a mystery thriller that dives deep into the story of the main protagonist, Daisy Darker. Her whole family has not all been together for years until they finally come together for her grandmother’s 81st birthday. Daisy’s grandmother announces her will to everyone, the night goes on, and then shortly after midnight, she is found dead, with a poem written on the wall behind her body. Suddenly everyone is awake, and they each start dying off, one by one. After each death, new information comes forward and the reader is left to wonder who the killer is until the very end…

I'm between a 4 and 5 on this book, but with it being one of the best mystery/thriller books that I have ever read, I'll give it a 5.

Normally books like these aren't my cup of tea, but once I started reading this one I had to know what was going to happen in the end. With each new little twist of death, the poem, and all the throwback VHS movie tapes, I was invested in Daisy's life, and I was surprised to read what happened in the end.

Definitely a good read for those who like mystery. I would suggest the book to anyone, even if it's not typically their type of read, because it wasn't mine either, but I fell into a story that was absolutely incredible and well-written.
