Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets is the 2nd Captain Underpants book written by Dav Pilkey. It starts off with George and Harold seeing a sign for the Second Annual Invention Convention competition. The principal, Mr. Krupp, sees them and says that they are banned from the competition because they caused chaos last year. George and Harold then decide to sabotage all the other kids’ inventions, except for Melvin, with whom they had made a deal. But Melvin tells Mr. Krupp, and he sends the two to detention. George and Harold write a comic and stick it in Melvin’s invention - a copier that copies everything in 2D to real-life 3D. The two friends thought that it was just an ordinary printer, but then their comic was printed, and evil toilets, along with a mega giant toilet, came out. They start eating everyone in the school, causing chaos everywhere. Is this too big a job for George, Harold, and Captain Underpants, or will good prevail?
Dav Pilkey wrote a really funny book! It was amusing when the book mentioned what George and Harold had done at last year’s convention. The Flip-O-Ramas in the books are always entertaining to go through. This was a great second book of the Captain Underpants series. Because of all this, I give this book a five out of five.
