In the final installment of the series we see our heroes try to stop Gaea from awakening and stop a war between the two camps. The fate of the world rests in their hands, if they fail the Olympians will be overthrown and civilization will be shaken apart…
The Blood of Olympus is a satisfying ending to the heroes of Olympus series. It has two storylines that we keep switching between, which works well as it keeps the content fresh and interesting to read. Though a good book, it did not feel as dramatic or serious, the book felt a bit rushed and underwhelming compared to the previous book. The whole series had been built up for an amazing and epic battle and when the moment came it felt a bit underwhelming, the antagonists did not feel as strong as they had been built up to be. It is still a good book with a satisfying ending.
