The Ballad of Never After is a captivating fantasy book about a girl named Evangeline. It was always said in her world that no one should make a deal with the fates because they always take more than you can give. Despite the warnings, Evangeline makes a deal with the Prince of Hearts to get her true love. Little does she know this deal will change the entire trajectory and purpose of her life. She is sent to a whole new environment and must go on an adventure in order to repay the Prince of Hearts, dealing with the consequences of the deal she made. I loved this book because it had a very unique and interesting plot. I also loved how the story progressed because it was very unexpected and unpredictable. I also liked how the author described the characters and setting. Her world building was very good. I would recommend this book to people that like adventure, mystery and romance books.
