This book tells the story of Sitting Bull, a brave and smart leader of the Lakota Sioux people. The book starts with his childhood, showing how he learned to ride horses and hunt. He worked hard and became known for his courage and leadership. As he grew older, Sitting Bull stood up to protect his land and his people when the U.S. government tried to take it away. The book talks about big events like the Battle of Little Bighorn, where he and his warriors won a famous fight. It also explains how he had to move to Canada for a while, joined a Wild West show later and how his life sadly ended.

This is a great book for kids and young readers who want to learn about Native American history and leaders who stood up for their people. It shows that he wasn’t just a brave warrior, but also a wise and caring man who loved and protected his people. The book teaches important lessons about courage, leadership and standing up for what is right.
