An annual tradition, Tertulias Latinoamericanas: Nights of Poetry and Song present three evenings of vibrant Latin American and Spanish verse, balladry and music. Join us for this season's final performance celebrating “hispanounidenses” and their immigrant stories, recounting the how and why of moving to our country. These stories – interesting, incredible, fantastic – are presented entirely in Spanish.

Tertulias Latinoamericanas: Noches de Poesía y Canto es un programa para todos los “hispanounidenses” que quieran escuchar la poesía latinoamericana y española además de unas buenas canciones. Este año tendremos nuestras historias como inmigrantes, en qué forma llegamos a este país y por cuál razón, relatos interesantes e increíbles y hasta fantásticos. La Biblioteca de Johnson County tiene el placer de invitarle a disfrutar del humor en un programa que incluye: trovas, coplas, anécdotas, chistes y adivinanzas del folclore popular y la literatura hispanoamericana y española.
