 I See a Box [tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”]

Someone’s at the door. I hear knocks. (click tongue 3 times, pretend to knock)
I open up the door. I see a box. (shout hurray)
I open up the box. The box is full of locks. (open the box to show 2 or 3 padlocks)
I really do not want a box of locks. (say boo hoo, pretend to cry)

Repeat with socks. Repeat with rocks

Someone’s at the door. I hear knocks. (click tongue 3 times, pretend to knock)
I open up the door. I see a box. (shout hurray)
I open up the box. The box is full of blocks.
I really, really want a box of blocks. (clap and cheer)

I had a little turtle (hands on top of each other, move thumbs)
Who lived in a box (make box)
He swam in the puddles and climbed on the rocks (with hands swim, climb)
He snapped at a mosquito (clap), He snapped at a flea (clap)
He snapped at a minnow (clap),and he snapped at me.(clap)
He caught the mosquito (cup hands), he caught the flea (cup hands),
He caught the minnow (cup hands), but he didn’t catch me! (wag finger)

I'm a little rocket pointing at the moon. (Raise arms above head and fingers tips touching)
Now I'm getting fueled up (Wiggle hips)
We'll be ready soon. (Stand up straight and tall, salute)
When it's time to board me, then I'll say (Slowly bend knees and crouch down - arms still above head)
Blast off! Zoom! We're on our way. (Jump up and shout!)
