It’s still bike month, but it feels like bike year at Johnson County Library with all the upcoming bike related programs!  

 

Come print some fun and functional 3d printed accessories in the MakerSpace, from valve caps to mud flaps, there are lots of stuff to choose from:

  • Johnson County leads the region with 98 miles of built bicycle infrastructure, and 315 additional miles of planned bicycle infrastructure, according to 2023 Regional Bikeway Plan Report from MARC. 

  • E-bike sales increased by 269 percent from 2021 to 2022, according to the NPD Group, a market research company.  

  • More than half of the trips people take are 3 miles or less, according to the Department of Transportation from nationwide survey data.Â
