Bring Your Services to the Library and the Community

Community Connections provides free, reservable office space at Johnson County Library for nonprofit organizations and community agencies. Use this space at Central Resource Library as an extension of your office to meet people where they are and make your services more accessible.

Whether you meet with clients by appointment or offer walk-in services, Community Connections helps you reach people in a welcoming, trusted public space.

Use Community Connections to:

  • Meet one-on-one with clients
  • Offer walk-in office hours
  • Connect with community members outside your office
  • Increase awareness of your organization's services
  • Reach people who may not otherwise access your services

What Is Community Connections?

Community Connections is a dedicated workspace for nonprofit organizations and community agencies serving those in need. The office space is next to the public computers at Central Resource Library. It is on the north side of the lobby, about halfway between the front entrance and the Kids area.

  • One conference room
  • Five workstations (cubicles)
  • Wi-Fi
  • Patron Printing is available nearby in the public computer area
  • Please bring your own technology. Computers are not provided in the Community Connections space)

The Library is committed to connecting people with trusted organizations that specialize in services beyond the Library's scope. Together, we help community members access support for needs such as:

  • Addiction recovery and harm reduction
  • Housing insecurity
  • Medicare and Medicaid navigation assistance
  • Health services
  • Employment, resumes and job searches
  • Food insecurity assistance
  • Other essential health and human services

  • Workforce Partnership—Provides job search assistance, résumé reviews and interview preparation.
  • Olathe Wyandotte Pregnancy Clinic—Offers mobile women's healthcare services.
  • ReStart Inc.—Offers addiction recovery information and support.
