Extended Access

Your Library. Your Schedule.

Extended Access is a way for you to unlock Library benefits beyond staffed hours in two of our locations. At Lenexa City Center, use the Holds Lobby to pick up your materials at a time that’s convenient for you. At Spring Hill, get secure, self-service access to Library resources – browsing, check outs, holds pick up, computers, printing – on your schedule.

About Extended Access

Extended Access is self-service and staff aren’t present. Security cameras monitor the locations and speaker announcements help you keep track of time.

In the Lenexa City Center Holds Lobby, you can pick up your holds materials before and after normal hours of operation, from 5 a.m.–10 p.m.

During Extended Hours at Spring Hill, you will be able to browse the collection, check out materials, pick up holds, use computers and printer/scanner/copier, read, study and use restrooms. Study and conference rooms will not be available during Extended Hours. Extended Hours at Spring Hill will begin after its reopening on June 3.
