Post-it note? Your napping kitty’s tail? Folded corner (gasp!)? None of those are nearly as cool as having a bookmark with your very own artwork on it. We are so excited to announce that the 2026 Annual Friends Bookmark Design Contest will be accepting submissions June 1 through July 31!
From preschoolers to adults, there are seven different age categories – each with two winners. Winning designs will be printed as bookmarks and distributed in each of the Johnson County Library branches, opens a new window!
This event is sponsored by the Johnson County Library, opens a new window and the Friends of Johnson County Library.
You can submit your entry beginning June 1. You can also download your entry form or pick one up at your favorite Library location starting June 1.
