Hear about how his childhood adventures (and misadventures) informed his books Dead End in Norvelt (the 2012 Newbery Award Winner and Scott O’Dell Award Winner for Best Historic Fiction) and the Joey Pigza series. His newest book, The Trouble in Me, captures a pivotal time in his life as a 14-year-old that lead to his eventual imprisonment as described in the memoir Hole in My Life.
Books will be available for purchase and autograph from the Friends of the Library.
