Lenexa City Center Library Closed on Saturday, Sept. 18 for Library Lets Loose

Lenexa City Center Library’s interior and Holds Lobby will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 18 for a private reception for Johnson County Library Foundation’s annual fundraising event, Library Lets Loose. The drive-thru materials return and holds pickup window will remain open. The branch will resume normal operations as scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Please contact us by 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 if you would like to move available holds from the Holds Lobby to the drive-thru. Public computers and meeting rooms are available at many of our other branches; visit jocolibrary.org for addresses and hours of operation.

More information about this year’s Library Lets Loose is available at LibraryLetsLoose.org

Library Lets Loose 2021 will herald the Johnson County Library Foundation’s 25th anniversary by telling stories of lives profoundly affected in positive ways by the Library. Normally a ticketed event, the fundraiser has gone virtual for the second year in a row! Registration to the virtual, family-friendly celebration of Johnson County Library is free and open to the public, though a socially-distanced, in-person component is offered this year at Lenexa City Center Library for invited donors and sponsors.
