Johnson County Election Office

Election Office Resources

The office manages voter registration, precinct boundaries, candidate filings and campaign reports, and conducts all elections for more than 2,300 elected positions in the county. Regularly scheduled elections include national, state, county and township contests in August and November of even-numbered years. City elections are held in the spring, with community college trustee, school, water and drainage district elections added in odd-numbered years in the spring. The Election Office also administers special elections in the county either by mail or polls.
