About this issue
As a celebration of the first fifteen issues of the magazine, this was elementia's first published book. This collection documents elementia's growth from a small magazine first printed on library photocopiers to professionally published magazine. Editors poured over 700 pieces of writing and art published since the magazine started in 2005 to select pieces that presented the diversity of voices found in those 15 issues.
This book was made possible by the efforts of teen editors Annie Barry, Meghan Dillon, Yasi Farahmandnia, Elizabeth Joseph, Isabel Nee, Amanda Pendley, Oli Ray, Emily Sawyer, Neha Sridhar, and Olivia Williams, interviews conducted by Catherine Strayhall, design work from Yasi Farahmandnia, Elizabeth Joseph, Oli Ray and Priya Lakshman and support from Library staff Kate McNair, Jennifer Taylor, Cassandra Gillig, Cassidy Coles, Becca Carleton, and Mickey Willard.
