Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier is a classical literature novel written in gothic style. The story involves a woman who marries Maxim de Winter, a wealthy man who she knows nothing about. The woman, at first is excited about her marriage, but soon experiences feelings of regret and guilt. She discovers the strong hold that Maxim’s late wife Rebecca had on the people around her. She works to uncover Maxim and Rebecca’s past to find peace in her own life.

Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian concludes the series with an electrifying showdown between Olympians and Titans. Riordan masterfully ties together plot threads, delivering a satisfying finale. Percy's journey from uncertain hero to confident leader shines. Kronos's army launches a massive attack on Mount Olympus, prompting Percy and friends to defend their home. The prophecy surrounding Percy's fate unfolds as he discovers his crucial role in the battle. Annabeth, Grover, Nico, and other allies rally around Percy.

Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth hurtles readers into an epic battle against Kronos's army. Riordan's vivid world-building brings the Labyrinth to life. Character development shines through Percy's relationships with Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Nico di Angelo. Percy's quest begins when he discovers the Labyrinth, a magical maze created by Daedalus, is vulnerable to invasion. Kronos's army plans to infiltrate Camp Half-Blood through the Labyrinth.

Ghost Circles is a graphic novel, the seventh book of a 9-book series called Bone. At the end of the fifth book, the Hooded One is revealed to be Princess Briar, Grandma's sister who was supposed to be dead. The Hooded One tries to kill Thorn, but she survives and the Hooded One is punished by the Locusts for trying to kill the wrong person. There is a big boom in the mountain and some of the locusts escape it, where they had been trapped so now the Lord of the Locusts is partially free.

Savannah is kidnapped by a man and is locked up in a white van. Everyone assumes that she ran away because of her recent argument with her mom’s boyfriend. But now Savannah is stuck in a trailer with another victim who almost died trying to escape.

For her final Capstone project, Pippa Fitz-Amobi wants to solve a murder case from five years ago. A case where Andie Bell was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Everyone in Fairview is set on that conclusion and the case was closed. Pippa however has a hard time believing it. The more she uncovers, the deeper down the rabbit hole she goes. But someone in Fairview doesn’t want her to keep digging and soon Pippa is in danger. There’s no way Pippa wouldn’t have back up for things though. Criminals are arrested and Pippa never anticipates her project would turn into this.

A Spark Unseen by Sharon Cameron is a historical fiction novel, the sequel to The Dark Unwinding. It starts off with Katherine waking up in the middle of the night, spoiling a kidnapping attempt on her uncle, the genius inventor who is in possession of something that could determine the result of the ongoing war in Europe with a mini competition between England and France on who will be the King of the Seas.
