This was such a fun book! Although, not in a very fun situation. Trevor Noah grows up as a mixed child during the apartheid laws in South Africa, so he was quite literally born a crime. This book describes Noah’s childhood, lifestyle, iconic stories, and the challenges he faced with his background. Here’s the most important aspect of the book: it’s funny. It seems contradictory, but Trevor Noah, as an adult comedian today, used humor as a coping mechanism in his life.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is about Charlie who is the son of a poor household. Charlie loves chocolate and soon gets an offer he can’t refuse. He then faces a set of “challenges” to determine the one to own the factory. In the end, Charlie makes the right decision and stuns the candy maker. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite books because it is by a very famous author, it is very exciting, and very funny.

My Life as a Meme is a great book. It is part of the My Life Series. It is about the main character, Derek who loves memes but soon realizes how it feels to be on the other side of it. Derek gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Derek learns that there are always two sides to things. I like this book because of the sudden plot twist, this makes it very exciting. Other readers might like this book because it is part of a series and the author does a good job on keeping the reader interested.

Much Ado About Nothing is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare. It’s a story
about how love makes us do ridiculous things and this is a topic that Shakespeare revisits in his
later plays. Much Ado About Nothing is about how a young man from war falls in love with a
nobleman’s daughter, which is the complete opposite of his friend’s annoyance with the

Spy School Goes South is about a boy named Ben Ripely. He is asked to trail one of his
former friends who agrees to lead him and his friends to SPYDER, the group of terrorists that
Ben continuously thwarts. When things go sideways and Ben ends up in a crocodile infested
river, he must rely on his friends to track down his enemies and save the day. I really liked this
