Restart is an amazing book to read if you like reading for fun. In Restart, the story is about a boy named Chase and he falls off his roof and forgets everything. He remembers how to speak the language he speaks but he does not remember anything else. When he gets to school there are many kids who are scared of him and many athletes who like him. Over time Chase learns that he was a bully and a jerk to many students. Chase takes the opportunity of forgetting everything and tries to learn how to make himself anew person.

Simone Garcia-Hampton is positive for HIV. Simone’s mother died when she was young. After moving from her old school, Simone made new friends and decides to start over. Simone is a really smart kid as well as being the student-director of her school play, Rent. At her school, Simone meets her crush, Miles. She loves him and dreams about kissing him, etc. But how will he react once she tells him she has HIV, while someone is threatening her to stop talking to Miles?

We all know about Auggie in the book Wonder, but R.J. Palacio made another book about other people’s point of view from Auggie’s time. Auggie and Me features Charlotte, Julian and Auggie’s friend Christopher’s view during Auggie’s time and a little after as well. This book is a good book if you want to see the bullying of Auggie from Julian’s point of view.

This book is realistic fiction. The main characters of this book are Maxine, London, Alice, and Rose (Maxine’s sister). The main characters want to get out of the place they are trapped in (The Massachusetts School for the Feeble-Minded) because they are diagnosed as morons, imbeciles, and idiots because of something “bad” they did. Their parents dropped them off there because they didn’t want them, and the main characters know that they won’t come back. That is why they don’t see a reason to leave.  London tries to get out but she gets caught on a farm she ran to for food and water.

The Red Court is a group of mysterious people that do favors and if crossed with punish you. Their members' true identities are unknown but Ember Williams wants to find them and shut the Red Court down.

When Hannah Baker, Clay’s classmate and crush, commits suicide, he never expected to hear from her again. But one day a mysterious package shows up on his doorstep full of tapes she recorded before her death explaining the 13 reasons why she did what she did. Clay is one of the reasons, and if he listens, he might find out why. Clay spends the night crisscrossing town with Hannah as his guide. Now he can finally understand her pain, and as he follows her recorded words across his town, what he discovers might change his life forever.

Brendan and Gray have been relentlessly harassed and bullied by the jocks at Middletown high for as long as they could remember. But not anymore. They decide enough is enough. They take all their classmates hostage at a school dance with an arsenal of stolen guns. It soon becomes clear to the students during the chaos that the only thing that matters to Brendan and Gary is revenge. At points along the story, there are statistics about gun violence, further educating the reader's understanding of the backdrop of this story.
