Projekt 1065, a historical fiction, written by Alan Gratz, tells the story of Michael O’Shaunessey during World War II. His father is the Irish ambassador for Germany. However, even though they are neutral, they are secretly a spy for the Allies. He is part of the Hitler youth, which essentially is training to become a Nazi soldier. He also meets Fritz and discovers that his house contained highly classified documents of a new plane that could be hugely beneficial for the allies.

At the end of the fourth book, Phoney Bone's plan to capture the dragon unintentionally succeeds, but the rat creatures come and show the townsmen who really is the enemy. The dragon and some mysterious warriors ward off the rat creatures.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway by Jeff Kinney is the twelfth book in the series, and it takes the Heffley family on a much-needed holiday vacation that quickly turns into a series of comical disasters. The story begins when Greg’s parents decide to escape the stress of the holiday season by taking the family to a tropical resort. What should have been a relaxing getaway soon becomes a nightmare as the Heffley’s face everything from airport mishaps to stomach-churning food, and from creepy crawlies to sunburns.

Dogman: Fetch-22 is a graphic novel, the eighth book of the Dogman book series. At the end of the last book, Petey and his robotic moth defeat Dr. Scum. Big Jim (calling himself “Commander Cupcake”) luckily caught Dr. Scum and the Fleas. It turned out that Grampa was pretty mean, and we went to jail for stealing Petey’s belongings. Petey and Li’l Petey visit Grampa in jail, who disguises himself and walks out of jail with the kitten.

Dogman: For Whom the Ball Rolls is a graphic novel, the seventh book of the Dogman book series. At the end of the last book, Dogman eats the evil clay taco and barfs him up to stop the fire in the theater. The Fleas are once again defeated. Petey is being a good cat but still has to go to jail because of the previous things he had done. Dogman feels better about being different because all his friends tell him that everyone is unique and special.
