I love love love this book. Filled with adventure, fantasy, thrill, some romance and even a few creepy/intense moments. There was always something happening that made you want to keep reading and I personally couldn’t put it down. Both main characters, Kell and Deliah (Lila) Bard, were so loveable and I absolutely love them together and apart.

When Alina Starkov is sought to have a special power, she is sent to a school for the magic to learn and train with the best of the best. During the process she encounters new acquaintances, romance, and plenty of secrets. This book was amazing! Bardugo does a fantastic job of world building; from the moment the book starts, you immediately feel like you are in the Grishaverse with Alina. The imagery the novel provided was spectacular, and I was hooked off the bat. The concept was very unique, and it made me that much more engaged.

Navigating Early is a story about two boys who meet at a boarding school and decide to go on an adventure through the Appalachian Trail in hopes to heal from past issues. This book was a beautiful read. If you like hearing people engage in deep conversations about any subject under the moon, you will enjoy this. I know I did for sure.

Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer is a humorous and adventurous fantasy novel by Rick Riordan. This book is about a homeless 16-year-old boy named Magnus Chase. He travels the nine worlds as an einherjar. He and his friends find a way to keep the Norse God’s enemy tied up on a magical island. I love the way Rick Riordan humorizes even the most tragic events. I recommend this book to anyone wanting something good to read or anyone wanting a good laugh.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the most recent new Zelda game. It feels very unique as opposed to older Zelda games, which, while good in their own right, often followed a dull and very similar pattern. Breath of the Wild, or BOTW, changes this up, giving players the freedom to explore the world and complete tasks in any order that they see fit, or even skip tasks completely.

In a world full of powerful wizards, lives 14 year old Mona. Mona is a wizard, but she isn’t an all mighty one, she has to power to make magical bread. All’s well in Mona’s life until she suddenly finds a dead body on the floor of her aunt’s bakery. She soon finds out that an assassin is roaming her city, and she’s the next of his prey. This book is like taking a deep breath of fresh air. I was hooked onto every page while reading this book. I enjoyed living vicariously through Mona and her gingerbread familiar, Bob.

Ms. Bixby’s Last Day, by John David Anderson, is about a mission of three boys to find their teacher. Ms. Bixby was an amazing teacher as Steve, Brand, and Topher have said multiple times in the book. The whole class loved Ms. Bixby, but Ms. Bixby got other plans. Ms. Bixby told the class that she had cancer, Adenocarcinoma, which means she will not be able to teach for the rest of the year. All the students were devastated when Ms. Bixby left, but not Steve, Brand, and Topher, or the three musketeers. They started figuring out a plan to meet Ms.
