Introducing the Baby Lock Flare: Embroidery Made Easy-ish at the Library
We’re excited to announce a new addition to the MakerSpace: the Baby Lock Flare embroidery machine!
The Flare makes it (mostly) easy to add custom embroidery to your projects. The Baby Lock Flare combines the creativity of embroidery with the automation of a CNC—no foot pedal required. It features a large touchscreen, built-in design editing tools, and an intuitive interface that’s great for beginners. We provide black and white thread, basic tools, and stabilizer to get you started. Plus, we have Ink/Stitch software available so you can create your own custom designs.
What You Can Do
- Embroider custom text, logos, and images on fabric
- Make your own patches!
- Import your own designs via USB or choose from built-in patterns
