Sharp Objects features Camille Preaker, a writer for the newspaper Daily Post in Chicago, who has been given a difficult assignment to investigate the death of two girls who had died in her hometown. Aside from a troubling past, Camille will have to confront her eerie mother and a half sister that she barely knows. With the help of Richard, a confident detective from Kansas City, Camille digs deeper in order to figure out what happened to the girls and to get a statement for her newspaper.

Never Let Me Go is a dystopian novel set in Britain. The book takes us through the life of young British school kids who are at an isolated boarding school. The mystery is they are required to follow a very strict set of rules and are never allowed to leave the premises of the school until they are old enough. The book is a great read and definitely takes an interesting turn.

Five teenagers all end up in detention for the same reason- having their phones in class. Yet, all teenagers claim the phones were planted. A very uneventful detention becomes life changing when only four of them make it out of that classroom. The athlete (Cooper), the beauty (Addy), the brain (Bronwyn), and the criminal (Nate) are all luckier than the outcast (Simon). Everyone in the room is a suspect in Simon's death, and as the kids learn more about each other they start to trust each other less. One of them is a killer and it's up to everyone else to find them out.

One strange night, she shows up at his house, pulls him into her whirlwind ride to get revenge, and she shows him what a strength it is to be free. She's not perfect though, and soon after their daring night, she's back out of his life. Back into her world of popularity and fun. Soon after, she truly disappears and leaves a paper trail for Quentin to follow.
