The novel follows President Snow during his youth, before he became a ruthless power-hungry leader. Coriolanus Snow is an eighteen year old boy living in the Capitol. The Hunger Games is a new concept in which the twelve districts are punished by having to sacrifice two children to fight to the death amongst the other eleven districts.
Reboot is truly an amazing story put together by the magical hands of Amy Tintera. There is nothing I love more than settling in on my couch and reading books for hours. A mix of drama, love, action, this book will certainly draw your eye. This book is rated 6th grade and above.
Oryx and Crake is a dystopian novel written by Margaret Atwood, the writer of The Handmaid’s Tale. Set in the post-apocalyptic future, this book follows Snowman, the last remaining human, as he navigates surviving in a world with few supplies and genetically mutated animals trying to kill him. The only ones to keep him company are a new breed of people called the Crakers, who are the creation of Snowman’s old friend Crake.
