Andy Weir’s novel Artemis follows Jasmine Bashara, A girl who lives in the city of Artemis on the Moon. Her only goal in life is to get rich and when she gets an opportunity to achieve this goal, she can't say no. She has to engineer the perfect plan to pull off this huge score. As a lover of science and a well written story, this was a pleasure to read. Weir is a great writer that makes you feel like you are right in the story with the character.
Summary: The Scorch Trials by James Dashner is the second book in the Maze Runner series. It continues the story of Thomas and his friends, who have escaped the maze and are now faced with a new challenge: the Scorch, a desolate and dangerous landscape plagued by a deadly virus called the Flare.
Andy Weir is most known for his writing of The Martian, but his newest book Project Hail Mary was a pleasant surprise when I read it. This book has lots of science in it as well as comedic relief every now and then. This scientific novel revolves around Ryland Grace who is the sole survivor on a mission to save humanity, except he doesn't remember that fact. Follow him through his journey to uncover his past and the details behind the mission.
