Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs lived log ago. Some walked (stomp in place)
Some swam (pretend to swim)
Some flew, you know! (flap arms at sides)
Some were big (hold hands high)
Some were small (hold hands low)
Some were gigantic (stretch arms out wide)
V-e-r-y tall! (stretch arms up high)

I Like Dinosaurs [Tune: Twinkle, Twinkle]

I like dinosaurs so much, I wish they still lived with us.
Some were big and some were small, some were fierce, but not them all.

Dino Laid an Egg [Tune: This Old Man]

Di-no-saur, she laid one. She laid one egg, then was done.
Chorus: Oh-oh, dino eggs, She lays them one by one.
She lays eggs until she's done.

The Dino Ditty

Dino-Pokey

Put your claws in. Put your claws out.
Put your claws in and scratch them all about.
Do the dino-pokey and turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about. Put your teeth in... chomp them all bout.
Put your feet in...stomp them all about. Put your tail in...wag it all about.

Dinosaur Hunt

Going on a dinosaur hunt. (slap thighs)
And I'm not afraid. (point to self)
There's a tall mountain (look with hand over eyes)
Can't go under it. (move hand down)
Can't go around it (move hand around)
Guess I'll go over it. (reach hands as if climbing)
There's a river. (hands over eyes)
Can't go over it. Can't go under it Guess I'll swim across it. (move arms as if swimming)
There's some tall grass. Can't go over it, can't go around it Guess I'll go through it (pretend to push grass to sides)
There's a cave! Can't go over it, Can't go under it. Guess I'll go in it. It's dark and spooky in here (shake)
It's cold in here! (wrap arms around self and shiver) I feel some scales (pretend to rub something)
I feel some big teeth! (pretend to touch something) OH! It's a Dinosaur! (scream)
Run out of the cave (slap thighs) Go through the grass, swim across the river Climb down the mountain, run home(slap thighs)
Open the door, lock the door jump into bed (cover head with arms as if hiding under a blanket)
I went on a dinsoaur hunt, and I wasn't afraid!
