La Culebra is a play based on an Aztec folk tale and is a story about a kind farmer who saves the life of a snake. The farmer maintains that if you do a good deed, good will come back to you. It takes a donkey, a chicken, and a coyote to convince the snake that you should always do good deeds - but never expect something in return. 

Presented in partnership with the Theater Department of Johnson County Community College.

Homeschooled doesn’t mean homebound! Bring your lunch and meet fellow homeschooling families. Enjoy activities, crafts, games and learning focused on our monthly topic. Intended for elementary school-aged kids, and younger siblings are welcomed. Johnson County and 4H staff will select resources helpful to both parents and students. As much as possible, we want to support your specific educational or information needs.
