Offered Monday - Thursday, Jan. 6 - May 20 (except school holidays). With lots of resources, tips and friendly smiles, Homework Help Coaches are ready to lend a hand. Students can bring specific homework assignments to work on, such as book reports or science projects; vocabulary, spelling, reading and writing skills; math; and social studies. All ages welcome; students in grades 2-8 are given priority. English language learners (ELL) are welcome. Generously supported by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the R.A. Long Foundation.

We discuss books using the "shared inquiry" format that enables exploration of the ideas and meaning found in what's read. "Shared inquiry" centers on interpretive questions that have more than one plausible answer and lead to engaging and insightful conversations about the text.
