Let’s read for fun! Club kids get together to talk about a new book, meet kids from other schools and explore fresh ideas. We provide a free book to the first 10 kids who sign up. Keep it if you like, give it to a friend and invite them to the Club, or return it for other Club kids to enjoy. Bring your lunch and join us for lively discussion. The Library will have a tasty treat to go with your lunch. Best for ages 9-12, and all kids welcome. Stop by the Youth Services desk to register and get your free book. Supplies are limited; sign up early!

We’ll seek inspiration from Dreaming Up by Christy Hale, we’ll use blocks, LEGOS and more in architectural exploration. This creative play encourages storytelling, critical thinking, creativity and hand-eye coordination. Best for ages 3 and up with a caregiver. Families welcome.

The MakerSpace Passport Program is a great way to learn about Maker ideas, tools and skills. Each week a new project is presented by our Library Makers and Youth Services team. Participants can complete a series of different weekly projects using a variety of materials and methods. This is an open, walk-in program: you come in, make something with us, and take home something awesome. Pick up a Summer MakerSpace Passport your first time, and get it stamped after your workshops. What would happen if Harry Potter quit the Quidditch team, stole a time turner, and started a punk rock band with himself from an earlier point in the space-time continuum? The answer is Harry and the Potters. Since 2002, brothers Paul and Joe DeGeorge (Harry Potter, Year 7 and Year 4 respectively) have released 3 full-length albums and played over 800 shows in libraries, rock clubs, art spaces, bookstores, basements, backyards and pizza places all over the world.
