Since its inception, Johnson County Library’s teen literary magazine, elementia, has published 15 issues that have included more than 700 young writers and artists from the metro area. We are releasing our first ever “best of” issue to celebrate. This compilation will launch with a special after-hours party following the Writers Conference Friday sessions. Refreshments and free copies of elementia will accompany readings and performances. All ages are welcome.

A lapsit program of songs, rhymes and movement for the very young. Introduce your little one to the sounds and rhythms of the spoken word and give them a head start on language learning. Birth to 24 months and a caregiver. Older Siblings welcome. Seating is limited. Please arrive 15 minutes early to pick up a ticket. A 6 by 6 program.
