You can help us bring a story to life. Our audience members will read from a script, with all the parts divided among the group. The focus is on reading the text with expressive voices and gestures. This wakes up your voice, face and your whole body, the best tools of creative expression. Kids will learn that each of these personal tools support how feelings, relationships and intentions are communicated in a story. Suitable for ages 6-11.

Every Thursday in June, ¡Adelante! Speak! offers an opportunity for Latino children to practice Spanish in a fun and engaging way. Through a variety of designed activities, ¡Adelante! The MakerSpace Passport Program is a great way to learn about Maker ideas, tools and skills. Each week a new project is presented by our Library Makers and Youth Services team. Participants can complete a series of different weekly projects using a variety of materials and methods. This is an open, walk-in program: you come in, make something with us, and take home something awesome. Pick up a Summer MakerSpace Passport your first time, and get it stamped after your workshops.
