"Victory gardens" were home gardens used to grow fruits and vegetables when rations for the public tended to be scarce while America was involved in a war. In this session, learn why victory gardens were so important during the world wars of the 20th century, and why they are a good idea today. Presented by Loretta Craig, of Prairie Garden Farm in Basehor, KS.
