You can rampage the city as a giant lizard in King of Tokyo, embark on a cross-country train trek in Ticket to Ride or save the world from deadly outbreaks in Pandemic. LGBTQ-identified youth are more likely than their peers to face increased risks of violence, homelessness and substance abuse. This session helps you gain a deeper understanding of these challenges and introduces you to some fundamentals of helping LGBTQ young people cope and thrive. There are fun surprises just waiting to be discovered in Grandma’s old-fashioned apron pockets. This is a sweet and silly celebration of family, friendship and fall. What’s that I see? A turkey in one of those pockets? Gobble, gobble, gobble! A fun participatory program for ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Jo Ho is an accomplished storyteller and a frequent visitor to Johnson County Library. Her energetic style delights all ages with collections of folktales, fairy tales and other stories.
