Fingerplays, songs, stories and creative movement in English with some elements of Spanish will help your child and you to develop an “ear” for the sounds of a second language. There are many cognitive, social and cultural benefits to knowing another language. Besides, anytime your children understand another language, they understand their own language and culture better. Come and experience an interactive program for ages 3 and up that fosters early literacy skills and a love of books and languages.

Join us this summer to feed your kids’ bellies and brains with story time fun. Children and their families will enjoy stories and a meal together. Each session will end with time for families to read together before the school district’s sack lunch program arrives.
