Carmack Community Room

Hone your skills with imagery and description designed to make your poetry and prose vivid, engaging and lasting. We will study modern and contemporary poets and writers, including James Wright, Yusef Komunyakaa, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Aimee Bender and Donald Barthelme and spend time sharpening our own skills.

Register once (appreciated but not required) for the entire Writers Conference and come and go as you please. Separate registrations are required to attend any of the Critique Sessions. Check out the Writers Conference schedule at a glance or search our online calendar for in-depth descriptions.
