Join us in our Library “studio” audience as author Ron Currie sits in conversation with Angela Elam, producer/host of New Letters on the Air. New Letters is the longest continuously-running broadcast of a national literary radio series. It’s produced at local NPR affiliate KCUR. This conversation will be recorded and post-produced for national distribution at a later date

Ron Currie is author of three novels including The One-Eyed Man. His short story collection God is Dead was winner of the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Award. In 2009, he received the Addison M. Metcalf Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters as a “young writer of great promise.”  His short fiction, essays, and criticism have appeared in the New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Salon, The Believer and elsewhere. He's a native of Maine, where he still lives.
