Ron Currie is author of three novels including The One-Eyed Man. His short story collection God is Dead was winner of the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Award. In 2009, he received the Addison M. Metcalf Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters as a “young writer of great promise.” His short fiction, essays, and criticism have appeared in the New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Salon, The Believer and elsewhere. He's a native of Maine, where he still lives.
