Bring twelve copies of three, double-spaced, single-sided pages of writing for a group critique. Facilitated by Christine Taylor-Butler.

Christine Taylor-Butler is the author of more than 80 books for children and young adults. A graduate of MIT, she holds degrees in both Civil Engineering and Art & Design. Christine has spoken at a number of national events including MidAmericon II, Boskone 2017, American Library Association, National Council of Teachers of English, International Literacy Association, Assembly on Adolescent Literature as well as literature festivals across the country. She was one of twenty authors and screenwriters invited to attend workshops at the second annual Schrodinger conference (Quantum Mechanics for Science Fiction Writers) sponsored by the Joint Quantum Institute at University of Maryland. Her young adult series, The Lost Tribes, debuted in March 2015. The sequel, Safe Harbor debuted in January 2017. Kirkus Reviews said of the series: “…a breath of fresh air. Well written and well paced.” "…the solid character development, strong writing, and action will appeal to sci-fi and adventure-story readers alike.”
