Venture into Optics Panel Discussion Thursday, Dec. 12 • 6:30-8 pm Central Resource Library 9875 W. 87th St., Overland Park, KS 66212

In this panel discussion, Artists Barry Anderson, Jose Faus, and author and UMKC Art History Professor Cristina Albu will provide perspectives on the current exhibition, their journey to this point in their careers plus new works on the horizon. Gain insight into the complexity and depth of their work as the panelists discuss what it means to make art in today's word. Moderated by Mo Dickens. A reception with light refreshments will be held 6-6:30 pm.

Venture into Optics is a collection of abstract, video, 2-D mixed media and 3-D printed art by well-known local artists. Works by Barry Anderson, Jose Faus, Mol Mir, Hunter Saxton, Miguel Rivera, Nathan Neufeld and his Kansas City Art Institute 3-D printing students are presented in an immersive arts experience the whole family will enjoy.
