eAudiobooks from Axis 360 for Android

Step 1: Sign in with your Library card and PIN

Go to the Axis 360 website and login with your Library card number and PIN/password.

Step 2: Install the Axis 360 App on your device

Click on App Zone at the bottom of the screen. Make sure Android is selected in blue, then tap Axis 360 from the list of apps. Follow the prompts to install the Axis 360 app on your device.

Step 3: Sign into the Axis 360 app

Open the app. Using the search tools, find and select Johnson County Library / Olathe Public Library. When prompted, enter your Library card number and PIN, then tap Login.

Step 3c: Enter your Library card number and PIN to login

Step 4: Find a title to checkout

From the Axis 360 app, tap the magnifying glass to search for a title or author. You can also use My Library and Browse to find suggestions and audiobooks by topic.

Step 4a: Find a title by searching or browsing

Make sure the book you select has the headphones icon, meaning it's an eAudiobook. Tap on the book, then tap the checkout button.

Step 4b: Make sure your book is in the audio format

Step 5: Listen to your eAudiobook in the Axis 360 app

Now you can listen to your eAudiobook! Tap Listen Now to begin downloading and playing right away. You can also choose to Download now and listen later or Return the title early. (It will automatically expire after 21 days, so you'll never have an overdue eAudiobook!)

Step 5a: Begin listening to your audiobook now or download to listen later

When you close the app, it will remember where you stopped listening. To pick up where you left off, just open the Axis 360 app and go to My Stuff. Tap Listen Now to immediately begin listening to your eAudiobook, or tap the book cover to get more information about the book.
