Meet the Author: Margaret Owen in Conversation with LL McKinney

Registration is not required, but requested for this event. Register online or call 913.826.4600.

Debut author Margaret Owen crafts a powerful saga of vengeance, survival, and sacrifice - perfect for fans of Leigh Bardugo and Kendare Blake - in The Merciful Crow.

Join us for a conversation with the author facilitated by L.L. McKinney, local author of the young adult novel A Blade So Black. Books by both authors will be available for purchase through Rainy Day Books at the event.

Margaret Owen was born and raised at the end of the Oregon Trail, and now lives and writes in Seattle, WA, while negotiating a long-term hostage situation with her two monstrous cats.  In her free time, she enjoys exploring ill-advised travel destinations and raising money for social justice nonprofits through her illustrations.
