Library staff review of America's Best BBQ by Ardie A. Davis and Chef Paul Kirk
Two barbecue experts went in search of the best American barbecue and have written of their travels in a book that showcases the idiosyncratic charm of the barbecue eatery, the delightful folks that run these rib joints and roadhouses, and the mouthwatering platefuls of food they serve. Ardie Davis and Paul Kirk offer helpful instructions for reproducing recipes and ordering signature dishes. They’ve also compiled a collection of heartwarming snapshots sure to make you smile. For barbecue enthusiasts and the barbecue curious alike, this book is an excellent choice. It captures the culture as well as the food and is as fun to read as it is to look at. - Michelle H.
