What software do I need to get started?

Windows Personal Computer (PC)

For iPod and Microsoft Zune users, most titles are compatible if using Overdrive Media Console version 3.2 (each title will indicate compatibility)
required software: 

• Overdrive Media Console version 3.2 
• iTunes 7.6.2 or newer

For other compatible audio player users, download WMA or MP3 audiobooks
required software:

• Overdrive Media Console 
• Windows Media Player (already on most home personal computers)
  Note: you may be prompted to perform a one-time Windows Media Player security upgrade before playing downloadable audiobooks

Apple MacIntosh (Mac) -- MP3 Audiobook Downloads Only

required software:
• OverDrive Media Console version 1.0 (or newer) for Mac
• Apple iTunes® version 7.6.2.9 (or newer)
• QuickTime 7.4.5 (or newer)

Windows Mobile Cell Phones or Other Devices

required software:
• OverDrive Media Console for Windows Mobile

Listen on your home computer, iPod, Microsoft Zune or other compatible portable audio player.

What audiobooks are available?

Browse or search for downloadable audiobooks. Most titles have audio samples.
