New to Recorded Books/NetLibrary? The Media Center is a program that you install on your home or office personal computer that makes it:

  • Easy to browse and find new titles
  • Easy to renew checked out titles
  • Possible to create favorites for check out later
  • Installation tips:

    • To get to the download, click on the picture in the middle of the page  labeled "NetLibrary Media Center."
    • Required on your home computer:
      -Windows XP or Vista
      -Windows Media Player v11
    • As part of the download process, you'll need your library card and PIN. When you start the Media Center Click on "Authenticate via your Library's Web page" and select "Johnson County Library" from the list.
      Enter your library card and PIN.

     Update Your NetLibrary Media Center

    Do you have the newest features? The latest version has fixes and is continually updated. Versions newer than 1.1.19 will update automatically. 
     
    To get to the download, click on the picture in the middle of the page labeled "NetLibrary Media Center." Update an older version now ->

     Browse the Recorded Books/NetLibrary collection

  • MP3 downloads are compatible with all players including iPod and Microsoft Zune.
  • WMA downloads are for compatible portable players that support protected WMA files. Most non-iPod players support this type of download.
