Researching Mutual Funds

If you're a mutual fund investor, the Library has excellent resources to help you make informed investing decisions. With your Library card, you can access fund ratings and analysts' commentaries from Standard and Poor’s, a respected, independent securities analysis firm. Additionally, the Library subscribes to two print publications that offer mutual fund analysis, the Morningstar Mutual Fund Survey and TheStreet.com Ratings’ Guides.

    Follow the Mutual Funds/ETFs tab to get to the funds research page. Search for a particular fund by name or use the Fund Screener to find funds with specific characteristics.

    These concise but highly informative mutual fund reports include analyst ratings and commentary, risk adjusted ratings, portfolio analysis, fund performance data, tax analysis, value measures and growth measures.

Quarterly Publications
Entries for each fund include ratings for overall investment quality, performance and risk.
