For the first time ever, the Johnson County Library will have a Teen Artist-in-Residence this summer, throughout the month of July. Danny Hull is a 16-year-old Olathe high school student. His hand-drawn illustration was voted as the image for the 2008 Summer Reading Program, "Blow Your Mind--Metamorphosis @ Your Library." Danny will be creating art live at the Central Resource Library this summer, and he'll be running drawing workshops at the Library. A reception will be held for Danny at the Central Resource Library on Sat., July 12, 2-4 p.m.
Danny's art will be featured all summer at www.jocoteenscene.org/dannyhull, including daily updates of his progress and a list of his artistic accomplishments so far.
