Check out the newly-accessible Johnson County Obituary Index! Created by Library staff and Genealogy volunteers, the index is a part of JoCoHistory.net and provides users the opportunity to request reprints of specific notices. Currently a work in progress, the index contains citations for surnames through the letter H - check back for updates as we make our way through the alphabet! If we haven't reached a surname you're researching, we are always glad to check the paper files and send you what we find - just contact us by email at jclref@jocolibrary.org or by phone at 913-495-9100.
